About CorgiChomp

Last updated: August 4, 2026

CorgiChomp is a free browser maze game: you steer a corgi around a maze, eat every dog treat, and avoid the cats. It runs in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to download, no account to create, and no sign-in — you open corgichomp.com and play.

Who operates it

CorgiChomp is a solo project, not a company with staff. The game, the artwork, the website and the tooling behind it are all built and maintained by one person.

How the game is run

The game is a static website — the whole thing is delivered to your browser and runs there. It is free to play, has no in-game purchases, and shows no third-party advertising to players. What we do measure is described in the privacy policy: anonymous, aggregate statistics about how the game is played, with no accounts and nothing traceable to a person.

Advertising and marketing operations

We promote CorgiChomp ourselves. There is no agency, no marketing team, and no outside contractor — the same person who builds the game also runs its advertising.

To keep that manageable, the advertising is operated through software we wrote for our own use. It is an internal, in-house tool: it is not a product, it is not sold or licensed to anyone, it has no users other than the operator, and it never touches another advertiser's account.

The tool is written in Python and uses the official Google Ads API client library. It works only against our own Google Ads manager account and the advertiser accounts beneath it. Specifically, it:

Two rules govern it. Every campaign is created paused and only ever enabled by a deliberate human action; and every change is written down — what changed, the tracking parameters attached to it, and why — so the advertising account can be audited after the fact. Usage is small: a few hundred API operations a day at most, across a single-digit number of accounts.

Technology

The site is a static, offline-capable web app (it installs a service worker so it keeps working without a connection). Analytics are aggregate and anonymous. The advertising tooling described above runs separately from the game and has no access to anything a player does.
